It also considers project pipeline by Iwi Māori boundaries and learner trends to assess future workforce capacity across regions.

This report forecasts the workforce demand for the construction and infrastructure sector in the region and the need to develop its capabilities and productivity to meet the challenges now and in the future. 


This report investigates the future of construction and infrastructure workforce planning, the development of its capacity, and its significance for the region. 


A series of regional workshops were held to identify regional issues and opportunities together with initiatives that could be actioned to help improve the supply demand gap in the short to medium term.
